Executive Director of the Gainesville Empowerment Zone Family Learning Center
The Executive Director will serve as the key leader and chief executive officer of the organization, responsible for the overall management, strategic direction, and successful operation of the organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong command of how to help low-income families connect to services. Teacher
Teachers should have at least a Child Development Assistant (CDA) credential and a minimum of 2 years' experience working with preschool children. They should be able to create and implement a lesson plan and perform assessments. Teachers must comply with DCF and ELC requirements and other duties that are assigned. They should be able to lift at least 50 lbs., perform small group and individualized learning for the children in their care.
Teacher Assistant
Teacher assistants should have a minimum 45 hours certificate, work well with others, and be willing to further education to obtain a minimum CDA. They should be able to stand in when the teacher is not present, assist with meals, and maintain a safe environment for children. They should be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
